ELMAG EPS
The cutting-edge EPS models are highly ergonomic high-tech products for trade, commerce and industry, but also for private workshops and garages.EPS technology
Developed in the technical laboratory under realistic conditions, EPS compressed air tools are characterised by their outstanding technical perfection.Tight manufacturing tolerances, self-centring, precision ground air motors and high-precision quality bearings from leading brand manufacturers ensure smoother running, optimised air consumption and maximum product performance.EPS safety
Compressed air tools are the safest power tools. They are generally much safer than electric power tools and are also more ergonomic. Without an electric motor, a more manageable and user-friendly design is possible and the added advantage is that there is no risk of electric shock or explosion. Compressed air tools are also safe to use even in wet environments.Even if, e.g. a pneumatic drill jams, there is no risk of injury. The return torque only affects one-sixth of the handle, while it increases several times over with an electric drill.EPS pneumatic tools are CE compliant. They are equipped with safety switches and, where necessary, protective covers.Maintenance and operation
Made for continuous loads under the toughest conditions, CA tools require minimal care. Clean and dry (condensate-free) compressed air is required as the drive medium. Water residues cause corrosion and damage to the air motor and components. Compressed air prepared by a refrigerant dryer and filter. And another thing - compressed air must be oiled! The easiest way is to use maintenance units, automatic oilers or inline oilers. It is also advisable to add a few drops of ELMAG oil directly into the air connection opening before and after each working day or before longer work breaks.Operating pressure
Operating vacuum:Setting the air pressure too low reduces the rotational speed and thus the power of compressed air tools.Operating overpressure:Excessive operating pressure increases the power, but also the speed of the compressed air tool and can lead to overloading both the application tool (e.g. a grinding wheel) and the compressed air tool.Ideal pressure setting >> Set an operating pressure of 6.3 bar for your compressor by means of the pressure regulator.Exhaust air
For any tool driven by compressed air, this must be removed from the unit. With high-quality tools (such as EPS impact wrenches), it is fed away inside the device through the handle or the housing. This avoids extreme dust formation (e.g. from brake dust when changing wheels) in the workplace.
